My breakfast experiences contd.

Ok, so we all know that British weather is unpredictable, but what we are now experiencing is beyond believe. All of a sudden we are experiencing autumn-like weather right in the middle of what should be a glorious summer time................Anyway, back to the main gist. Ikea restaurant makes no boast about it customer service but even with this in mind, eating in Ikea is a joy. Granted you have to carry your own tray and pack up after you finish eating, but at the price you pay for the food this is understandable. So a few days ago, I had a fantastic English breakfast at Ikea Lakeside, Essex. The meal consisted of beans, scrambled egg, sausage and bacon all for just £1.39 (99p if you have an IKEA family card), although it doesn't come with toast you can purchase a bun (wholemeal or white) for just 40p plus you also get a free cup of coffee or tea with your meal if you have an IKEA family card (free to apply for instore). I half expected the breakfast to be passable especially at that cost, but was I in for a surprise!

The breakfast was great, nothing negative about it. Can I also mention that the restaurant was squeaky clean despite the large number of customers. M&S restaurant  Lakeside, Essex sure has a lot to learn from these people (read my earlier blog on my breakfast experience @ M&S.
